Welcome to Horizon Toastmasters

Toastmasters' clubs are dedicated to helping members become better communicators. We hope that you will visit a Horizon Toastmasters Club meeting soon (we meet every Tuesday at 7 pm).

Communicating is more than speaking. Good communications also includes listening, leading teams, conducting meetings, and giving and receiving constructive feedback. Public speaking can be a critical part of career advancement or working effectively in volunteer organizations.

A Toastmasters' meeting includes much more than presenting a prepared speech. Impromptu speaking, learning how to organize and run a meeting, and persuading and motivating your team are some of the additional skills that you learn as a Toastmaster. As a member of Toastmasters, you can enhance all of these other skills in addition to improving your public speaking.

There is no charge to attend a meeting as a visitor.
We hope to see you Tuesday!

Brian McClellan has successfully defended his State Championship for public speaking. Brian believes that he gave his best rendition of the speech and is on his way to victory.

When you pair his victory with Martin Birkbeck's second place showing in the Table Topics contest, we can proudly say that Horizon Toastmasters is the best club in the state of Georgia.
Mark June 21st on your calendar! That is the date that Brian will compete at the Region 8 Conference.

Congratulations Brian and best of luck at the next level!
